HTC Vivid Design Opinion

This HTC Vivid surely isn’t a pattern statement. The smartphone is certainly not the most beneficial looking offering we’ve seen from this Taiwanese company. It does however, look unmistakably such as an HTC and we believe that this fact will fascinate plenty of people.

The build quality on the smartphone is solid. Unfortunately, we cannot say identical about the choice of materials. The HTC Vivid is predominantly wearing glossy plastic. While we didn’t uncover any flaws in its quality, it became a massive dust and fingerprint magnet – that had been especially the case with our black color review unit.

This is highly strange showing for HTC. We were always impressed because of the materials and their implementation on the exact devices. Sadly, this is not the way it is with the HTC Vivid.

The measures on the HTC Vivid are 128. 8 back button 67. 1 x 11. 2 mm, while its weight would be the whopping 177 grams. The smartphone is certainly not the most pocket-friendly offering you will confront – even among the 4. 5” Operating system devices. Once again however, this never been an issue for the HTC supportive crowd.

The smartphone is available in paper color schemes – a fact, that ought to help it appeal to a severely wide audience. The 4. 5” LCD screen on the HTC Vivid has the familiar qHD image resolution. The display has the flaws off its predecessors to date. Its viewing angles and outdoor legibility simply will not cut it in this price assortment. The unit is no match with the Galaxy S II’s Super AMOLED Furthermore unit or the award winning AH-IPS screen on the LG Nitro HD.
