To begin with, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray hardware. There isn’t really something to complain about. Yes, the screen is small but if you prefer a bigger one, you should check away the Neo or the Arc rather. Fine handsets both of them, however lacking that sharp sporty feel.
Dimension aside, the screen is among the greater LCD units we've seen. The sleek interface and some of that Bravia miracle really help sell it.
On the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray software side, the ray is up to regular. Flash videos are something the Sony Ericsson team needs to take a look at, even though Flash overall worked good (games too).
While the Neo and also the Arc do well in their functions, there is a shortage of high quality compacts in Android, which even other manufacturers neglect to address. And no, the Xperia small doesn’t fit that bill.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia beam does. It’s small, as in an attractive little sports car, rather than small to maintain the costs down. The Xperia ray is hot also it knows it. That puts a large amount of pressure on it to do well within the upcoming review. But as far because we’re concerned, the Xperia ray is off to some roaring start.
